OOC: I forgot to ever start this one. IC: Standing on an overpass, a pair of sharp crimson eyes scanned the terrain that was laid before him. Not in a casual sense, but as if searching for a single object, that one certain thing. After a moment, obviously not finding it, the figure stepped back a few inches and put on a pair of sunglasses. "Well, it looks like I've gotten away from them for now. Wonder how long it'll last this time?" After his brief soliloquy, he turned around and started to walk into the dense forest behind him.

Kerylle at first did not see it, but after looking back at the line of trees that started the Oakwood Forest she noticed a little black figure.
"Ohehhh," Seinya, Kerylle's Umbreon purred. Its eyes were narrowed, only the sparkle that the sun gave them showed at all.
"Yeah, I see it," Kerylle said, not looking down. "Maybe part of that group...?"
"!" a polite whisper came from under the balcony.

Kim crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the tree. Her eyes had been fixed upon the figure standing at the overpass, and now he had begun to walk toward her. Though the possibility was quite high that he would not see her-- she was very high above the ground, perched in a large oak tree-- Kim drew back into the shade cautiously, letting the leaves cover her face. A Houndoom stood protectively on a nearby branch, paws fixed firmly on the broad, rough surface It was hard to imagine how a pokemon colored black, red, and white could blend so well with tree bark, yet the Houndoom somehow accomplished it; it leaned forward a little and nudged the girl's shoulder, murmuring a soft growl.
"He's coming this way," Kim whispered under her breath in reply. "No one ever comes into Oakwood Forest-- at least I've never seen anyone come in, not willingly, at least. Who do you think he is? No one honest, probably, or what business would he have here?"
The Houndoom shook its head and growled softly again, warning the girl to be silent. Kim nodded assent, and tried to scoot back even further. As she edged backward, her hand, which she had reached out to steady herself, accidentally fell onto a small twig. A noisy snap split the air, the dry wood alerting anyone with ears to her position. Immediately, the Houndoom crouched and froze, preparing to leap in case of danger. Kim bit her lip to stifle her gasp and screamed curses mentally.

Kamon paused to examine the wall. There were vines growing on the wall and no stone handholds.
Great, Kamon thought sarcastically. Not only do I risk my neck sneaking out to meet this girl, I have to climb to her? What next? No! I won't even think it.
He began to climb. Halfway up, he paused to breathe and think, Well she is royalty. Even if she's evil royalty, she should be treated with respect.
He looked out over Oakwood forest and saw a dark figure among the trees. He noted for future reference but continued his climb. When he reached the top of the balcony he began to shift to one side so he could swing himself up and whispered, "!" as quietly as he could.

Kerylle looked down, startled, and searched the balcony.
"Kamon!" she exclaimed silently, overjoyed. How long had it been since they had seen each other? A week? Maybe two? "But I told you to stop calling me that!" she added, picking up her skirt and sitting down.

IC: Hearing the loud sound come out, he stood still for just a moment, waiting for anything else. When nothing else came, he simply continued to walk, but left a warning for whoever was there.
"I know not who you are. But, I warn you, if you have vile intentions, and seek me out, you'll not escape alive."
With that said, he simply continued to walk...

Kim's hands clenched on her Houndoom's fur. How dare he speak of vile intentions? A man who dared walk into Oakwood Forest alone, at dusk-- how dare he? The Houndoom growled a warning into Kim's ear-- this man was obviously unsafe-- but she did not listen. The girl slid from her position in the tree and descended hastily, snapping small twigs along the way and rustling several leaves. Her hands moved over the tree's rough bark, scraping small, pink burns across her palms. If Houndoom were a human, it would have rolled its eyes and sighed with exasperation; as it was not, it snarled slightly, then leapt nimbly from branch to branch until it reached the ground.
"C'mon, Houndoom," Kim said softly, knowing the man was out of earshot now. "We'll follow him-- find out what he's up to." Before she could take another step forward, however, Houndoom fastened his teeth on the edge of her jacket and shook his head vigorously. Turning, the girl noticed the stare Houndoom was giving her, and the fear for her safety in it. With a sigh, Kim knelt by her pokemon, and cupped his face in both hands. "No. If we're going to take him seriously, he only said he'd only hurt us if we have 'vile intentions' toward him. We don't mean anything bad against him, unless he has vile intentions toward us, and if he goes for the Mei'ilneya, then he does. Houndoom," she whispered desperately, "If he gets it, nothing matters anymore. Please, let's go."
Sadly, Houndoom released the girl, and the two of them began to follow the mysterious man, silently and swiftly as two shadows.

"Therefore I must say it all the more," he said, swinging himself over the edge of the balcony and sitting cross-legged. He was rather pleased with his dramatic entrance, but his triumph was short-lived.
"What's going on out in the Oakwood?" he asked, squinting a bit.

Kerylle sighed and rolled her eyes, though smiled anyway.
"I don't know... someone went in a few seconds ago, but it looks like he's long gone now," she said. "I can send someone in to investigate." Seinya, her Umbreon, walked over and rubbed its cheek against Kamon's leg, purring loudly.
"Oh, did you bring any of your pokemon for Seinya to play with?"
OOC: Sorn, can you somehow drag me into the forest to meet with Nightmay and Xion?

"Of course I did," Kamon responded, faking a scowl. "Growlithe! Come on out boy!" He released his Growlithe (conveniently named Growlithe) from it's ball and he immediately set to sniffing Seinya.
Kamon pat Seinya on the head and straightened up. "Why send someone? We can go ourselves!" he said to Kerylle. "It'll be fun."

Kerylle let Kamon pull her up by the arm and set a worried expression on her face. She looked back through the frilly doors into her room and looked back.
"Mm," she hummed nervously. Truth was she really did want to go. "Can I go on Kurel?" she asked, mentioning her Ponyta.

"It may be awkward to move through the Oakwood on an equine beast ," Kamon replied straightening his back and adopting a formal tone. "However, if it be your wish, I should place my life between harm and yours."
At the same time, he was thinking, That formal royalty thing is fun! Bet it ticks her off. He released his Combusken and his Metang. "We shall protect you or die in the attempt!" he exclaimed in the same tone.

Kerylle grumbled, wondering why she still liked the guy. "Urgh," she groaned, though somehow keeping a ladylike appearance. "To the forest, you dolt. And horses aren't that bad in forests, are they?"
Kerylle stroked Seinya's head and gazed out at the forest. It was just about noon, but the sun seemed too tired to shine much.

"Oh, I do hate when they wander all alone by themselves, don't you Liera?" The odd girl asked to the small Espeon wrapped around her shoulders. "Well, do you think we should go welcome our new guest into Oakwood? It seems positively splendid!" The girl stood, brushing leaves out of her alarmingly turquoise hair and held a circular like weapon to her lips and licked it. "Girl, after all, we haven't had any bloodshed in at least a week! It is beginning to grow boring around here..." She spoke in almost a crazed whisper to the Espeon but surprisingly it nodded its head in agreement.
A mischievous gleam shone in both the girl and the Espeon's eyes. One that bespoke a slight bit of madness and absolutely no mercy. Ren quickly gathered her backpack and began silently following the man she had seen with the sunglasses.
